Google Ads for eCommerce stores that care about profit

Shopping, Performance Max and Search for online stores. We clean up your product feed, fix your tracking and check the platform's ROAS against the revenue and margin in your store.

Where eCommerce Google Ads usually goes wrong

Google Ads will tell you your ROAS. That number is worked out from the conversions Google can see, at the value your tag sends. If the tag double counts, includes tax and shipping, or claims sales from people who were going to buy anyway, the ROAS looks better than your bank account.

Then automated bidding uses that number to decide where your money goes. A bad signal in means bad decisions out, at scale.

  1. A feed Google can't make sense of

Vague product titles, missing GTINs and disapproved products limit where you can show. Shopping and PMax can only work with what's in your feed.

  2. Performance Max taking credit for brand searches

Without brand exclusions, PMax happily spends on people already searching for your store name. Those sales look like new growth in the report.

  3. ROAS that ignores margin

A 4× ROAS on a low-margin product can lose money. A 2× ROAS on a high-margin one can be your best campaign. The platform treats them the same unless you tell it otherwise.

How we fix it

  1. Audit the tracking and the store data

We compare purchases and revenue in Google Ads with what your store platform recorded over the same period. The gap tells us how far off the reporting is.

  2. Clean up the product feed

Titles written the way people search, correct categories, GTINs where you have them and disapprovals fixed. We manage Merchant Center as part of the account.

  3. Structure campaigns around margin

Products get grouped by how much they make you, so your best earners get budget and the low-margin ones don't drag the account down.

  4. Add Performance Max carefully

PMax goes in once the account has solid conversion data, with brand exclusions in place. Shopping and Search keep running where they give us more control.

What we report on

Revenue from your store, matched to the campaigns that drove it, alongside the platform's own numbers. Where we can, we look at margin and new versus returning customers too. This means you can see what the ads are adding to the business, next to what Google says they added.

Questions people ask

Usually it's a mix of double-counted purchases, values that include tax or shipping, different attribution windows and sales Google claims from people who would have bought anyway. We compare the two over the same period and fix what we can at the tag.

Most stores end up using both. We start with Shopping and Search, where we have more control, then add PMax once there's enough conversion data and brand exclusions are in place.

Yes. We handle Merchant Center, fix disapprovals and rewrite titles and attributes so your products show for the right searches.

It depends on your margins. We work out the ROAS you need to break even on each product group, then set targets from there. A single target across the whole store is rarely right.
